K. Statements of financial implications of draft resolutions

During the General Assembly representatives of member countries submit draft resolutions on matters of concern for action by the General Assembly. Should a draft resolution have programme budget implications, the Secretary-General has to prepare a statement on the implications of the draft resolution for the programme budget of the UN. These statements are submitted in accordance with rule 153 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly.

[Note: The statements of financial implications of draft resolutions are issued as documents of the 5th Committee of the General Assembly.]

Subjects:

In addition to relevant subject headings for major topics, corporate and personal names and uniform titles, the statements of financial implications of draft resolutions are assigned the following:

610 $a UN $g Budget (YYYY-YYYY)

e.g.:

650 1 7 $a FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS
650 1 7 $a PROGRAMME BUDGETING
