国际恐怖主义
联合国一向积极地反对国际恐怖主义，并对其进行坚持不懈的斗争。联合国及其所属机构已达成了广泛的国际法律协议，使国际社会能够采取行动抑制恐怖主义并对其责任者绳之以法，这表明了国际社会消除恐怖威胁的决心。
从1963年到现在，有27份涉及国际恐怖主义专题的全球或区域文书。
联大60届会议通过60/43号决议
"强烈谴责一切形式和表现的恐怖主义行为、方法和做法均为犯罪行径，无正当理由可言"。
大会决定1996年12月17日第51/210号决议设立的特设委员会,
应从速继续拟订关于国际恐怖主义的全面公约草案。
