| 每年的3月21日，人们都纪念消除种族歧视国际日。1960年的这一天，在南非的沙佩维尔，警察开枪杀害了69名参加反对种族隔离“通行证法”和平示威的人。1966年，联合国大会宣布3月21日为消除种族歧视国际日；并号召国际社会加倍努力消除各种形式的种族歧视(2142
