世界粮食日
10月16日
1979年，联合国粮农组织大会宣布纪念世界粮食日，其目的在于：提高公众对于世界粮食问题的认识；加强全世界的团结，共同与饥饿
、营养不良和贫穷作斗争。1945年10月16日，是联合国粮农组织的成立日，世界粮食日就选在10月16日。1980年12月5日，联合国大会通过35/70号决议，考虑到粮食是人类生存和健康的必需品，也是人类的一项基本需要，赞同纪念世界粮食日。
