裁军周

| 联合国大会在1978年裁军特别会议的最后文件（S-10/2号决议）中，号召每一年纪念裁军周，这一活动始于每年纪念联合国成立的活动。大会请会员国强调军备竞赛的危险性，大力宣传停止军备竞赛的必要性，提高公众对于裁军迫切性的认识。
1995年，大会请各国政府和非政府组织，继续在裁军周中发挥积极作用(12月12日的50/72 B号决议)；请秘书长继续尽可能广泛地使用联合国的信息实体，来提高公众对裁军问题的认识，以及更好地理解裁军周的目的。 |
