French Programme Summary

Between 700 and 800 staff and diplomats register for French classes each term. The French programme offers 24 sections of regular courses from level 1 (beginners) to level 8 (advanced level. There are 6 accelerated courses (every day and at all levels) and 13 special courses such as Pronunciation, Oral Expression, Professional Writing, Autonomous Learning and Media. There are also communication workshops, such as Job Interviewing in French and Simulation of International Meetings.

French classes are taught by our eight full-time teachers – recruited through competitive examination - and a number of part-time teachers who all have graduate degrees in applied inguistics and teaching experience in various multilingual contexts.
