| Description: |
Chinese through multimedia is a course designed to teach Chinese
language and introduce Chinese culture, poems, movies, music,
painting, and operas through various media such as Internet, TV,
movies, radio, newspaper, and magazine. Students will learn Chinese
computer input and word processing, web surfing through Chinese search
engines, as well as reading and composing Chinese emails. They will
also learn to appreciate Chinese music, operas, poems, painting, and
cross-talk comedies. The topic for each session is different so that
students are able to enlarge their vocabulary widely. All these activities will help in creating a much enriched environment for students to learn Chinese and understand Chinese culture. |
