 Tips on How to Succeed
Before the exam
- Take diagnostic test(s) to determine which grammar points you most need to study.
- Focus on what you don't know well. Look for clear explanations and practice exercises for the grammar that you find the most challenging.
- Practice with contextualized exercises. The best practice exercises are those that ask you to choose the best answer within a story or conversation - not just within one sentence.
During the exam
- Quickly scan the next sentence before answering a question. This will help you to choose the best answer for the context.
- Relax. If you don't know the answer to one question, don't panic. Make an educated guess and move on. The next question may be easier.
- Answer every question. There is no penalty for a wrong answer.
