UN Partners: Programme Consultative Group

The UN Democracy Fund is supported in its work by the expertise of UN Departments, Offices, Funds and Programmes active in fields related to democracy, governance and human rights.

The UNDEF Programme Consultative Group, consisting of seven such UN entities, provides expert advice and support to the Advisory Board and the UNDEF Secretariat on project proposals and funding criteria. It brings together

• the Department of Political Affairs
• the Department of Peacekeeping Operations
• the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights
• the Peacebuilding Support Office
• the UN Development Programme
• the UN Development Fund for Women
• the UN Office on Drugs and Crime.
