Secretary-General Approves Short-List of 86 Projects

The Secretary-General and the Deputy Secretary-General have approved the short-list of projects recommended to them by the UNDEF Advisory Board.

All applicants on the short-list have been contacted and asked to take the next step - the preparation of a Project Document which will trigger project funding.

Details of the projects on the Second Round short-list will be posted on the website once the Project Documents have been submitted to UNDEF.

As previously noted, UNDEF does not have the capacity to contact the many unsuccessful applicants. Please note that it is anticipated that the Third Round of funding will be advertised on this website in November 2008.
