One of the most effective weapons in immunization campaigns is
the National Immunization Day (NID), which is declared and
carried out by countries in order to reach the maximum number of
people possible. Volunteers and experts are mobilized to
vaccinate millions of children. It is often effective to have
neighboring countries conduct NIDs at the same time to reduce the
risks of the disease traveling to other locations. Here are some
