Thoughts
: As students of the international community, we are concerned
with our peers ability to resolve conflicts peacefully. We
believe this can be achieved through education programs, awarness
programs, and a general sharing of information.
Action : Mediation tools and techniques for students to impliment
Peer Mediation Programs within their own schools. We believe
students need to be empowered to deal with their own problems
and conflicts -- thus resulting in the development of conflict
resolution skills for later in life. School : Sir Allan MacNab

Class : 6
Address : 1206 Dundas est London,Ontario
When : Thursday, December 9, 1999
Thoughts : There are children who lack the basic resources
necessary for a proper diet; we must encourage governments
to spend tax money to help alleviate this.
Action : To assist children refugees we must work to unite
families which have been separated by war or poverty. School

Dear Mrs. Annan,
I think there should not be drugs, killing or guns. The poor
should be taken care of. School should be for everyone. I
think the trees should not be cut down because it effects
a lot of people and things. FROM, CECILIA
Dear
Mrs. Annan,
Hi! I'm Melissa and I would like to talk to you . I have a
few worries, concerns, and hopes for the New Millenium that
my class has brainstormed. First I will tell you\ my concerns.
I think we should throw out all nasty drugs and use guns properly.
Also we should save the rainforest and endangered animals.
Next I have a few worries. I think we should put some sort
of screen on top
of smoke stacks and use less paper. Last I have some hopes.
I would like world peace and a car kids can drive in like
a bike on the road, only it's a mini car on the road.
Sincerely, Melissa
Dear
Mrs.Annan
I hope there will be healthy cigarettes because my grandma
smokes and I don't want her to get cancer. I hope people would
stop cutting down the rain forest.
From Jimmy
Dear
Mrs Annan,
I am Zach. I am writing because I don't want anyone to see
the earth go bad until the sun dies. I think that guns should
be sold only to police officers. There should be a $25.00
fine for littering. We should live on the moon if the laws
fail.
From, Zach
dear,mrs.
Annan
I hope there are no drugs and less pollution. I hope there
are flying cars that way you can fly over people and not be
late and not get yelled at. I worry that a gaint comet will
hit the earth.
from Aaron
Dear
Mrs. Annan
I'm glad that you made this letter! I think it will help a
lot. I have concerns, hopes, worries and solutions about the
New Year. I hope that stores will stop selling cigarettes
or any illegal drugs.
I hope there will be a law for no littering. I'm still worrying
that there will be pollution from factories and people take
more than they need. I also hope there will be world peace!
From, Allison
Dear
mrs.Annan,
I hope there will be no more cigarettes because that's how
people die quicker or get very Ill and die. On the year 2000
I hope there will be flying cars because then you could travel
over water
and get to places without paying to get on the airplane. I
hope there are no more drugs because people die quicker.I
hope there is no more littering because that's how the earth
is polluted.
I hope you have a Happy New Year.
From Melissa
Dear
mrs. Annan,
I hope people will treat people with respact and notlitter.
I want people to try to save the rain forest because the world
animals are being endangered.
Sincerely, Greg.
DEAR
MRS. ANNAN,
HERE ARE SOME SOLUTIONS TO THIS WORLD. WE CAN ONLY TAKE WHAT
WE NEED FROM SOME LANDS. WE CAN GIVE FOOD TO THE POOR. WE
CAN GET KID CARS SO WE CAN GO PLACES. WE SHOULD TRY TO SAVE
THE RAINFOREST.
SINCERLY, PATRICE
DEAR
MRS. ANNAN,
I hope that flying cars get made because if the world blows
up no one would be able to have transportation. Also if the
world blows up no one will have a place to live, so I think
people should try to make it possible for people to live on
the moon. I hope that drugs stop being used badly and also
cigarettes should stop being sold too.
from, Billy

Dear
Mrs.Annan,
I have a solution to make the world a better place. I think
you can make a law about littering and polluting laws. And
one of my worries is the rainforest. And one of my hopes was
for the goverment to make a home for the poor with better
treatment. Oh thank you for reading letter. Sinnerrly, Hyoung
Dear
Mrs.Annan,
I would like to ask you a few things. First of all I would
like to know if you can save the rain
forest so we won`t have a lot of endangerd or even extinct
animals? I don`t want the toucan to die because they are really
funny! I would like to know if you can put traffic lights
on the highway. Also my dad and a lot of other people I know,
smoke and if you can stop that, that would be
pretty good.
Sincerely, Nicholas
