Australasian Model United Nations Annual collegiate conference that takes place in Sydney, Australia. Baur International Model United Nations (BIMUN) Conference held each spring in Mexico City. Bentley College MUN Middle school conference was held in March 2002, high school conference will be held in May 2002. Massachusetts. Berkeley Model United Nations (BMUN) The largest MUN conference on the West Coast, BMUN hosts approximately two thousand students every March on the campus of University of California - Berkeley. Its primary goal is for each delegate to use parliamentary procedure through the process of discussing resolutions. Bratislava Model United Nations (BratMUN) 2001 High school conference taking place in Bratislava, Slovakia. Bremen International Model United Nations (BRIMUN) A three-day, international, English-speaking Model United Nations conference to be held from 22-24 March, 2005, at International University Bremen in Bremen, Germany. Brown University Simulation of the United Nations (BUSUN) This Providence, RI conference for high-schoolers is focused on the General Assembly. It provides excellent background materials on its website. Cairo American College Model United Nations (CACMUN) is held every October on the campus of Cairo American College, for high school students. CACMUN does General Assembly, Security Council, and International Court of Justice simulations. Cairo International Model United Nations Cairo International Model UN is one of the largest intercollegiate Model UN programs outside of North America. Canadian International Model United Nations CANIMUN) Interested in becoming a part of Team CANIMUN? The next Team CANIMUN mission is scheduled to occur from January 23-28, 2005 and members will participate in the XXXVII Anniversary Session of The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) in The Hague, The Netherlands (http://www.thimun.org). Applications are open to High School Students who must reside in one of Canada?s 10 provinces or 3 territories. Potential applicants will complete the online application forms found on www.unac.org/mun under the ?Team CANIMUN? section. Application deadline is Wednesday November 10, 2004. Successful applicants will receive full financial assistance to cover the costs associated with air travel, accommodation and conference fees. Members of Team CANIMUN 2005 will be selected to reflect Canada?s regional, linguistic and ethnic diversity. Since 2002, UNA-Canada's Model UN Programme has taken 6 Team CANIMUN missions to Model UN Conferences around the world. Carnegie Mellon Model United Nations Conference An annual high-school conference held each spring at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. Chaminade Model United Nations Symposium (CHAMUN) A high school-run MUN which takes place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Chicago International Model United Nations (CIMUN) CIMUN is a innovative, top-quality high school level conference attended by 1200 students yearly from the United States, Asia, Europe and the rest of the Americas. Cleveland Council on World Affairs High school conference held in northern Ohio the fall. Cleveland National Model UN Conference (link to be updated) Collegiate conference hosted by Case Western Reserve University in the fall. Cleveland National Model United Nations (CNMUN) CNMUN is a crisis-oriented, college-level conference held annually at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. The January 2007 conference will feature a four-way coordinated crisis, involving the cabinets of Iran, Israel, and the United States, along with a modern UN Security Council. Run with in continuous, dynamic, crisis with a focus on current world events, CNMUN offers a unique experience in the heart of the University Circle area of Cleveland. Colombo Model United Nations Conference This high school conference takes place in Sri Lanka each March. Conference on Global Affairs Model United Nations (CGAMUN) Holding conferences annually in London, Ontario (Canada) for high school students. Cornell Model United Nations Conference In Ithaca, New York. Annual conference. Dayton Model UN Conference (DAYMUNC) Collegiate conference hosted by Sinclair Community College, Wright State University, and the Dayton Council on World Affairs held in the winter. Earlham College Model UN High school and collegiate conference in Richmond, Indiana in the winter. Elementary Niagara Model United Nations Conference (ENMUN) A single-day MUN competition for Grade 8 students hosted by the Council on World Affairs of Canada. Gannon University Model United Nations Pennsylvania conference that simulates the General Assembly, Security Council, and ECOSOC. Georgia Tech High School Model UN Conference (GTHSMUN) Conference held each October at the Georgia Institute of Technology, located in Atlanta, GA. Simulates all major GA committees and many specialized committees, including Security Council, UNEP, UNDP, Commission for Human Rights, African Union, Organization of the Islamic Conference, and IAEA. Global Elementary Model United Nations (GEMUN) An elementary/middle school level MUN which has existed since 1990 in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Great Lakes Invitational Conference Association (GLICA) GLICA hosts several high school conferences annually. The Great Lakes Invitational Model United Nations conference was held in Michigan in March 2002. Harvard Model United Nations High school conference held in Boston each December. Harvard WorldMUN 1000 university-level delegates from over 50 different countries. Hosted in a different international location each spring, Harvard WorldMUN runs about 4 days. Simulates 17 different UN organs and international organizations, including Security Council, UNDP, WTO, and ASEAN. New specialized agencies and international organizations are changed every year. Hawaii Island Model United Nations Hosted by the Hawaii chapter of UNAUSA and Hilo HS Social Studies, this conference is for grades 7-12. Hong Kong International Model United Nations 2004 (HKIMUN 2004) The Hong Kong International Model United Nations 2004 (HKIMUN 2004) is now inviting applications from all over the world. Last year, we attracted 300 delegates to the conference. About 80 of them came from the US, Australia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Korea, Mongolia. etc. Application forms can be downloaded from our website. IMUNA International Model United Nations of Alkmaar, The Netherlands. International Model United Nations (online) International Model United Nations is an online, easy to use, forum based model UN. Members are given usernames and represent the members states of the United Nations. Currently members can be active in the General Assembly, the Security Council and the International Court of Justice. International Niagara Model United Nations Conference (INMUN) This conference for high school students traditionally runs in mid-November and is held in Ontario, Canada. Internet Model United Nations (IMUN/MINU) A virtual MUN conference held entirely in the Internet. The MINU has sessions in both English and Spanish. IV Modelo Naciones Unidas YMNU Buenos Aires 2006 Se desarrollará el IV Modelo Naciones Unidas YMNU Buenos Aires 2006 en las instalaciones del Colegio Champagnat de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina durante los días 15, 16 y 17 de septiembre 2006. Jewish-Canadian Model United Nations (J-CYMUN) The Jewish-Canadian Youth Model UN conference is in Montreal Canada from a Sunday to a Tuesday and provides kosher food. Allowing observant Jewish students to attend (as not over Jewish Sabbath), it hosts students from all over Canada and the United States. Grades 9-12, first timers and experienced debaters - everyone is welcome. Johns Hopkins Model United Nations Conference Annual high school conference in Baltimore, MD. Juniata College Model United Nations One day conference for high school model UN clubs held at Juniata College in Pennsylvania each fall. Laguna Hills MUN - California Simulates several General Assemblies and a small number of specialized including Security Council. Also includes conference photographs. Latin American Model United Nations Based in Mexico. The most comprehensive Model UN in Latin America. London Model United Nations University-level conference held each February in London, United Kingdom. McGill Model United Nations Assembly The largest collegiate Model UN conference in Canada. Michigan State University Model United Nations (MSUMUN) A model UN conference for high school students held at MSU. March 28-30th, 2003, at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center on the campus in East Lansing, Michigan, USA. Last year over 200 high school students attended; projected goal for this year is 300. Mid-America Model United Nations (MAMUN) The Mid-American Model United Nations is the largest high school MUN conference in the Midwest. MAMUN will hold its 32nd conference November 7-8, 2005 at Southwest Missouri State University, run by the World Afairs Council of SMSU. MAMUN will simulate the General Assembly (GA), three Committees of the GA, the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the Security Council (SC), a historical Security Council (HSC), and the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Mid-American Global Education Council (MAGEC) This organization runs three high-school conferences in Michigan and Canada, holding the main conference, the Mid-American Model United Nations Conference (MAMUN), annually in March. Mission Viejo High School Mission Viejo, California annual conference that simulates larger General Assemblies with several specialized agencies. Model U.N. of The Americas (MNULA) This conference, sponsored by the U.N. Association of the Dominican Republic has become a favorite for students and teachers from all over Latin America. Held annually in March, conducted in English and Spanish, it brings over 1,500 participants from over 20 countries each year.
