Mission
Background
World Space Week is a new United Nations event that will celebrate the many ways in which outer space unites humanity, broadens our perspective and improves the human condition.
The United Nations will be holding World Space Week from 4 to 10 October, annually, both at its Headquarters in New York, U.S.A., and in Vienna, Austria. On 4 October, at 10AM in New York and 3:30PM in Vienna, some of the world's most distinguished thinkers and space explorers will join us, and we want to give students all around the world the chance to ask questions.
