The piece was created for our triptych project using images of the past, present and future but all three of the images here belong to the past. The artists plan to incorporate this triptych into a video that will capture the present and future too. It will show the three pieces from above, moving along the length of the artworks lined up end to end, travel over a patch of open ground with bumps, roots, weeds, bits of garbage and glass close up - the present - and come to the feet of the three artists as they sit whistling a traditional tune on a park bench. The camera will travel up over their bodies to their upturned heads and move on to the sky, rising like the song to — the future!
