BEFORE THE WAR:
"My childhood before the war is surrounded by mist. I can remember a few details like sunny days filled with happiness and joy. I can see my family: my father, mother, brother and my sister. Now when I think a little I don't remember a lot of things from my childhood. Darkness took it. But it isn't lost, it is in me, deep in my soul."
DURING THE WAR:
"The war is something that I will never forget. I had to grow up fast. I left my toys and games and entered the grown up world, which I didn't understand. I remember people getting killed. Many families were destroyed, children died... We were at the edge of the abyss. The thing that I remember the most is the courage of people. I remember the love, love for life that carried us to win. Days were like years. It was hard but I think that now I'm stronger. I survived the war... I can survive everything."
WHAT YOU MOST WANT TO LEARN, SEE, DO:
"I want to go around the world to see people and their customs. I would like to learn everything. Knowledge is power. The thing that I like the most is art. Art is something that comes from culture, it comes from people. Art is a language that everyone understands, it is the language of the world."
A MESSAGE FOR PEOPLE OUTSIDE BOSNIA:
"I have one message: People of the world look at Bosnia, there are many young people, talented people, waiting for a chance to speak. Give them that chance. Give them the chance to say what they have to say and you will see that Bosnia is a mine of talent, art, music, sport and friendship."
