SOMETHING YOU REMEMBER FROM CHILDHOOD, BEFORE THE WAR:
"I remember my fifth birthday. It was 1990, a year and a half before the war. I was so happy, I even remember the birthday cake that my father bought to me. It was chocolate cake and a white sign was on it that said, 'To our son, happy 5th birthday, and best wishes!' I will never forget that birthday."
SOMETHING YOU REMEMBER FROM CHILDHOOD, DURING THE WAR:
"I remember one night... I was sleeping and then suddenly the shooting started. I was so afraid. I was crying, and my mother and father hugged me so strong so I would feel safer. It was a horror and I just wanted it to stop! And, there were a lot of nights like that later."
THE THING YOU MOST WANT TO DO, SEE, OR LEARN:
"My first plan and dream after secondary school is to go to Academy and finish it. But very important to me is to stay in the project with Elana and Kate cause it helps me to express my ideas about what happened here during the war, but not just those kind of ideas, and everything else. What I have on my mind."
A MESSAGE FOR PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF BOSNIA:
"For people outside of Bosnia: hmmmm... don't do anything you wouldn't like someone to do to you. Live life and be happy cause this world is Beautiful! And, of course, create art, because that's the best way to express yourselves, your ideas... hopes... and everything."
