We are in the process of making everything presented on this website available in the six official UN languages (arabic, chinese, english, french, russian and spanish). In order to get to the site in one of these click on the weclome button in the language you would like to view the site in. However, this is very much a work in progress, and not all the material is available in all the languages at this time. The language that has the most complete content is english. If you do not find what you are looking for in one of the other five languages, consult the English UN home page (www.un.org).

The UN web site is a collection of hundreds of web pages and sites produced independently by the various departments and offices within the UN system, and as such, there is no single "corporate" look and feel to the site. If you are having difficulty finding what you are looking for, try the site index (www.un.org/site_index/) or the search page (www.un.org/search/).
