YEAR IN REVIEW 2006 (13'36"), an annual 15-minute TV series, recaptures major highlights of the Organization's activities and initiatives during the past year. It includes coverage of global events and comments from world leaders as well as citizens dealing with the effects of cluster bombs or AIDS.

A Workshop for Peace is a 54-minute long documentary which unveils the dramatic story behind the design of the famous United Nations Headquarters in New York and how the vision of architects like Oscar Niemeyer and Le Corbusier shaped it. Produced and directed by award-winning American film-maker Peter Rosen, in association with the UN's Department of Public Information and with support from Tele Images International, a French distribution company, and Japan's national broadcaster, NHK. A Workshop for Peace was broadcast on PBS TV channels in commemoration of the UN's 60th Anniversary.

UNTV provides live daily feeds of meetings, conferences and special events at UN Headquarters in New York. A dedicated crew of professional cameramen, editors and producers based in New York provide television coverage. These daily TV feeds are used regularly by the three main syndicators - APTN, Reuters, and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) - as well as many individual broadcasters. UN images are seen in newsrooms and househilds around the world.
