Satellite Information

As in previous years, the UN Day message by Mr. Kofi Annan, UN Secretary-General, will be sent via satellite world-wide. Television broadcasters can downlink this message, as well a special 3-minute compilation on the work of the UN. The Secretary-General's Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech will be made available for download from this website.

This package of approximately 10-minutes in length is available for downlinking on October 22nd 2001 from the following satellite transmissions. These transmission are not encrypted and are in the clear for any broadcaster.
