United Nations Secretary-General presents his report entitled "In Larger Freedom: Towards Security, Development and Human Rights for All"

The report deals with terrorism, human rights and the reform of the United Nations so that it can better face challenges in today's world.

The Central African forest is shrinking at an alarming rate of 8,000 kilometres per year as a result of illegal logging and poaching"

To address this problem, African leaders met recently in Brazzaville, the capital of the Republic of Congo where they signed a treaty to protect the continent's forest.
