UN STAFF OBSERVE THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF REFLECTION
ON THE 1994 GENOCIDE IN RWANDA

(April 7, 2004)


United Nations staff members at headquarters in New York today marched around the fountain in front of the Secretariat Building, to commemorate the International Day of Reflection on the Genocide in Rwanda. The march was led by Catherine Bertini, Under-Secretary-General for Management. A minute of silence was observed after the march. The following are photos taken of today's march at UN Headquarters:
