Secretary-General visits
Netherlands
Secretary-General Kofi Annan traveled to the Netherlands from 15 May through 19 May 1999. While in The Hague he attended the Hague Appeal for Peace Conference at the Netherlands Congress Centre, and the Centennial of the First International Peace Conference of 1899 and the adoption two months later of an international convention creating the Permanent Court of Arbitration. The Centennial was observed at the Peace Palace. Following are photo highlights of his visit:
