On 30 November, the round table "Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: Towards a More Just Society", was held under the aegis of the UN Country Team/Russia, and it was organized by UNIC Moscow at the World Bank-Russia premises.

The UNIC closely coordinated with several local NGOs, which allowed us to engage quite a few prominent experts such as the legal expert of the disability NGO "Perspectiva", and advocates of the rights of persons with disabilities. Among them were several activists from Russia's provinces including the Siberian Buriatia.
