UN official expresses concern over incidents on Lebanon-Syria border
24 July 2012 – In a meeting with Lebanon’s Prime Minister, a United Nations senior official today expressed concern over the over recent incidents along the country’s borders with Syria, and emphasized that the Security Council and the international community are committed to preserving security and stability in the area.

19 July 2012 – The Security Council said it is encouraged by the stability that continues to prevail across the so-called Blue Line separating Israel and Lebanon, and emphasized the need to move forward on all outstanding issues regarding the implementation of relevant resolutions.
