The European Road Census (E-Road) contains data on road traffic flows (average annual daily traffic, AADT) by vehicle category, as well as breakdowns of vehicle flows by night, peak-hour and holiday traffic. In addition, the 1995 Census provides information on infrastructure parameters of E-roads such as length and width of roads, number of carriageways and lanes. This CD-ROM has been developed in the context of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) using the Arcview 3.0 software.
