Introduction Community Service Activity

To have the students begin thinking about community service, tell them to compile a list of homeless shelters, food shelves, churches and other organizations that serve those living in poverty in their community. This list will inform the students about the different services available for people in their community, as well as inform them of volunteer opportunities in which they can participate.
