Chief Seattle August 9 is International Day of the World’s Indigenous People. It is a time to explore the history and culture of the millions all over the world who are Indigenous. Learn more and discover ways to join the celebration of the International Day by asking: Who are Indigenous Peoples? Where are Indigenous Peoples? What are some indigenous cultures like? What is "Indigenous Knowledge?" What are the collective rights of Indigenous Peoples?
