Work with NGOs
Support organizations that are working to rehabilitate child soldiers.
Background
A number of organizations around the world are working on behalf of child soldiers. Some of them are listed here. Research these organizations. Find out if they have an office in your area.
Take Action
Encourage your friends or classmates to pick an organization to work. They can raise funds for these organizations, write letters on their behalf, or take part in awareness-raising campaigns. The NGOs may have suggestions on ways that students can best help.
