Create a Quiz

Quizzes aren't just for school—magazines, Web sites, radio, and TV shows all use quizzes to get and keep their audiences' attention.

Background
Short, engaging quizzes and polls are great educational tools--and people love taking them!
What are the 5-10 main facts about child soldiers that you think would surprise or shock people in your area? What were the top three surprising things you learned during this WebQuest?

Take Action
Create a quiz on child soldiers that you can give to other students. Give the quiz to students without the answers first. After they have completed all the questions, give them the correct answers. What questions did most people get right? What questions did most people get wrong?

Keep a record of students' quiz scores, in order to find out what kinds of information students need on this issue. Use the quiz scores to design an information campaign on child soldiers for your school or community.
