WHO TO CONTACT

For journalists covering the UN, the Spokesman for the Secretary-General is the main point of contact for authoritative information on the work of the Organization and especially that of the Secretary-General.

Each day at noon, the Spokesman briefs accredited correspondents in New York on the activities of the Secretary-General and the Security Council, as well as on other developments in the UN system.

The Spokesman's Office is also responsible for planning the Secretary-General's and other UN officials' media-related activities.
