ACTIVITIES OF SECRETARY-GENERAL IN THAILAND, 4 JULY

United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon arrived in Bangkok from Yangon, Myanmar, for a brief stopover on the evening of Saturday, 4 July.

During the stopover at the airport, he met with Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva and briefed him on his just concluded good offices mission to Myanmar.

He also held a press conference at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport that same evening before departing for Geneva.
