DECOLONIZATION COMMITTEE STARTS SECOND PHASE OF SPECIAL
BERMUDA, 31 MAY - 4 JUNE
The special mission of the decolonization Committee, led by its Chairman, Ambassador Julian R. Hunte of
, will pay a second visit to Saint Lucia Bermudafrom 31 May to 4 June 2005.† The mission will participate in the activities organized by the Bermuda Independence Commission and gather information relating to the self-determination process in this Territory.† The decolonization Committee will report to the General Assembly on the missionís findings.
Bermudais a Non-Self-Governing Territory under the administration of the .† As administering Power, the United Kingdom is in charge of United Kingdom Bermudaís foreign affairs and as such, has approved the invitation extended to the Special Committee on decolonization by the Government of Bermuda at the behest of the Bermuda Independence Commission.
In addition to the Ambassador of Saint Lucia, the delegation of the Special Committee includes the representatives of
