SECURITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE CHANGES PRIMARY NAME IDENTIFIER

On 19 June 2003, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1267 (1999) decided to change the primary name identifier for an individual who appears in the Committee’s consolidated list (Al-Qaida section). After careful review of the information submitted to it, the Committee has agreed to change the primary name identifier of Abu Hamza al-Masri to Mostafa Kamel Mostafa (variant: Mustafa Kamel Mustafa). The original primary name identifier has been retained as an alternative name. The Committee also added another alternative name, Adam Ramsey Eaman, to the entry for Mostafa Kamel Mostafa.
