resolution, on practical steps adopted to implement the measures renewed
by paragraph 1. Reiterates that any serious obstacle to the freedom of movement
and any attack to UNOCI, the French forces, the High Representative for
the elections, the International Working Group, the Mediator referred to
in paragraph 20 of resolution 1721 (2006) constitutes a threat to the peace
and national reconciliation process for purposes of paragraphs 9 and 11
of resolution 1572 (2004). Extends the mandate of the Group of Experts for
a further six months. |

the International Working Group constitutes a threat to the peace and national
reconciliation process for purposes of paragraphs 9 and 11 of resolution
1572 (2004). Imposes prohibition on the import of rough diamonds from Côte
d’Ivoire. Re-establishes the Group of Experts for a period of six
months. |

d’Ivoire (UNOCI) and the French forces supporting it to monitor the

in consultation with the Security Council Committee to set up, within the
next 30 days, a three-member expert panel to undertake a number of tasks,
including: examine information gathered by UNOCI and the French forces on
their monitoring activities; gather and analyse all relevant information
in Côte d’Ivoire and countries in the region on arms flows;
and consider and recommend ways of improving the capabilities of States
in the region to implement the Council's relevant measures. |
