SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION 1070 (1996)



Addendum





1. Since the issuance of my reports to the Council of 10 July 1996 (S/1996/541) and the addenda of 17 and 23 July and 15 August 1996 (S/1996/541/Add.1-3) and of 14 November 1996 (S/1996/940), a further two replies have been received from Member States as at 24 December 1996 (see annex) bringing to 65 the total of replies received. All the replies have been published as documents of the Security Council.





MEASURES TAKEN BY MEMBER STATES PURSUANT TO PARAGRAPH 3

OF RESOLUTION 1054 (1996) AND PARAGRAPH 2 OF RESOLUTION

1070 (1996)



2. The two replies received provided information regarding paragraph 3 of resolution 1054 (1996). One State reported that it had taken action in compliance with paragraph 3 (b) of the resolution. The other State, in its second reply, reported additional measures taken in compliance with paragraph 3 (b) of the resolution.
