Dr. Catherine Tinker

Dr. Catherine Tinker is a professor of international law and a consultant in New York City on dispute resolution, international environmental law, and the United Nations. She has an M.A. in English and Comparative Literature and a J.D., and she earned her LL.M. and J.S.D. from New York University School of Law. Dr. Tinker practices law as an attorney, arbitrator, and administrative law judge, and publishes law review articles and chapters in books, including The Precautionary Principle and International Law (Kluwer Law, 1995) and Adapting the UN to a Post-Modern Era: Lessons Learned (Palgrave, 2001).
