The United Nations Procurement Division has launched a new version of its UN Procurement Mobile App for the iOS platform (iPhone/iPad/iPod).

This new version adds access to statistics such as procurement volume by major commodity and top 20 countries. The added functionality will soon be made available to Android and BlackBerry users also.

The "UN Procurement" App offers real-time access to information related to business opportunities, business seminars schedule and contract awards. The App will allow vendors convenient sharing and transfer of information within their organization on-the-go directly from their smart phones.

The Mobile App is part of the United Nations Procurement Division's enhanced supplier outreach program and can be downloaded from the iTunes Store, Android Market and BlackBerry App World free of charge.
