The United Nations Procurement Division would like to invite qualified vendors to participate in a solicitation related to our landmark Enterprise Resource Planning program known as Umoja. This solicitation (RFPS-1727) is to select a partner to provide technical support services for the United Nations’ SAP infrastructure hosted in the UN data centers. The UN’s enterprise data center facilities are located in Valencia, Spain and Brindisi, Italy.
In order to support the SAP system, the UN requires outsourced Managed Services and equipment, and qualified vendors may bid on either or both of the components below. The required services have been split into two work packages:
Work Package 1: the supply and installation of hardware components (i.e. servers, storage, backup equipment) required to support the SAP systems and landscapes for Umoja as described in the solicitation.
Work Package 2: provide software installation, migration of existing configurations, and ongoing Systems and Netweaver Basis Administration services for both SAP and non-SAP elements of the solution as described in the solicitation and its appendices.
Qualified vendors who are interested in participating are encouraged to contact the Procurement Officer, Mr. Gregory Kuchler, via email at kuchler@un.org
Proposals are required to be received by the UN no later than 11 July 2012 at 2:00PM (New York Time)(the Closing Time.)
