Briefings

Staff members of the Tax Unit will be conducting two tax briefing sessions on the dates listed below. Please note that the same briefing will be presented on each of the two days. Staff members who are liable to pay income taxes to the U.S. tax authorities on UN salaries and emoluments are invited to attend.

The presentation will provide general information regarding the UN’s tax reimbursement procedures and the related filing requirements, and will provide time for general questions. New staff, who joined the UN during 2006 and are subject to U.S. income taxes, are urged to attend one of these briefings as are those staff who desire a review of the filing requirements with the United Nations and the U.S. tax authorities. Staff are encouraged to review the latest Information Circular prior to attending the briefing sessions.
