How to use the Aetna Navigator

1. Select a search category, such as "Physicians and Other Health Care Professionals" or "Vision One Providers"
2. Select "Open Choice PPO" from the Health Plan menu.
3. Enter the "Geographical Information" and "Search Criteria" to be used.
4. Click on the "Continue" button to see the list of providers. If there are matches for the criteria you selected, you will be presented with a summary list of results.

1. Click on "Find a Doctor or Specialist" at the top of the menu in the upper right hand corner of the home page.
2. The screen displayed allows you to select the following options: New York Provider Search, Nationwide Provider Search, Pharmacy Management and Empire Vision Care. For Empire Pharmacy Management, you need to log-in or register for online member services.
3. Follow the prompts depending on your selection.

CIGNA HealthCare Online Directory Instructions

1. Select "Provider Directory" under "Popular Links".
2. Select "Dentist" on the "Select the type of provider" search.
3. Select "Search by name", and "Enter zip code OR city and state" if you already know the name of the dentist.
4. If you are searching for the name of a new dentist, select "Enter zip code OR city and state" and select the distance you are willing to travel.
5. Click on "Continue" button.
6. Select "Managed care plan with open access to dentists CIGNA Dental PPO".
7. Select "Specialty" on drop-down menu (i.e., Endodontics, General Dentistry, etc.).
8. Select "Language spoken" preference.
9. Click on "Continue" button to view search results.

1. Click on "provider search" at top right.
2. Select "Plan" type (HIP PRIME) and select continue.
3. Members can search in three ways:
   1. Quick: Search by using physician's name
   2. Proximity: Search by zip code
   3. Comprehensive: Search by language, specialty, country, zip code and/or board certified
