Enrolment Campaign

2011 Annual Campaign

The 2011 Annual Campaign will begin on 6 June and will extend through 30 June. Staff members who are currently enrolled in a UN health insurance plan do not need to take any action unless they wish to change or add eligible family members. Staff members who wish to enroll, change their plan, or add eligible family members must submit the application form and other forms as necessary to Insurance and Disbursement Service.

Representatives of Aetna, Blue Cross, CIGNA, HIP, VanBreda, ActiveHealth and Medex will be present at Labouisse Hall, UNICEF Building on Monday and Tuesday, 6 and 7 June 2011, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., to provide information on the various programme offerings.

In addition, on 7 June 2011 at 9:00 A.M. (New York time) the Health & Life Insurance section will host a Webinar for staff members located outside of the US. The Webinar is available to the first 500 registered and will provide an overview of health & life insurance (https://untownhall.webex.com/untownhall/onstage/g.php?t=a&d=668273692). Once completed a recording of the Webinar will be posted here.

The 2011 Information Circular, including the new premium rates, is being prepared following the finalization of the new rates effective 1 July 2011. A summary of the updates included in the circular is being posted here.

Completed forms will be accepted by email insurance-unhq@un.org, fax (212) 963-4222, or in person by the Health & Life Insurance Section throughout the campaign period. Customer Service hours at 304 East 45th Street, 3rd Floor, Room 300 will be as follows during the month of June 2011:
