Programme Performance Assessment in Results-based Management

Session 3

There are two types of recommendations that can be made: those that can be implemented within the project or programme, and those that must be implemented by others. To ensure that these are carefully marked, all recommendations should contain information about who would be responsible for their implementation. A good recommendation:
Addresses the problem or the positive result identified;
Clearly specifies who should be responsible for implementation; and
Is realistic in terms of the capacity of the responsible parties to implement.

Once you have produced both conclusions and recommendations, you are ready to go on to reporting.
