Lists of websites of organizations, data/information portals and data holders where general information, and publicly available scientific and technical data can be accessed that may be relevant to the preparation of submissions to the Commission
The following lists of websites were compiled by the Scientific and Technical Advice and Training Committees of the Commission pursuant to the decision of the Commission taken at the twenty-second session (CLCS/60, para. 35). This decision was in response to the request contained in paragraph 3 of the decision of the eighteenth Meeting of States Parties ( SPLOS/183) that the Commission "…compile a list of publicly available scientific and technical data relevant to the preparation of submissions to the Commission, and to publicize the list, including by posting the list on the website of the Commission"; Two non-exhaustive compilations of web sites are provided: 1. A general list of web sites for international organizations; 2. A detailed list of web sites for accessing publicly available marine data and information. The Commission takes no position on the general content, accuracy and relevance of the websites listed above, or the scientific and technical data and information that they contain.
