  The Fifth Ministerial Conference on Social Development in Asia and the Pacific was held in Manila from 5 to 11 November. Some 30 high-level delegations attended the event. The meeting reviewed the achievements made in the first few years of implementation of the Social Development Agenda for Asia and the Pacific.
