The Force Commander, General Urano Teixeira Da Matta Bacellar (Brazil), boards the Papaloapan.
An official ceremony is held to welcome the arrival of 30,000 voting kits and 1002 palettes in Port-au-Prince to be distributed by MINUSTAH, the CEP and OAS around the country of Haiti. The transportation of these materials is donated by Mexico who provided one of its Naval ships, the Papaloapan. The kits are partly funded by the Japanese Embassy in Haiti.
