Strength

Initial authorized, 4 April 2004 - 23 June 2005
6,240 military personnel, including 200 military observers; as well as 350 police officers, some 435 international civilians and 529 local civilians, and 119 United Nations Volunteers. [ S/2004/3/Add.2]

Since then, the authorized strength of UNOCI has been reviewed and changed by the Security Council on a number of occasions, depending on the situation in the country and the needs of the mission.
