Political Missions
The United Nations Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), the United Nations Integrated Office in Sierra Leone (UNIOSIL) and the United Nations Integrated Office in Burundi (BINUB), although United Nations political or peacebuilding missions, are directed by the Department of Peacekeeping Operations.
