Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People

The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, a subsidiary body of the General Assembly, has contributed to the celebration of Bethlehem 2000 by promoting the Palestinian Authority initiative among the members of the United Nations, at its meetings and conferences, and by raising awareness among the international public. At the request of the Committee, the General Assembly adopted resolutions in 1998 and 1999.
