Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People Committee meetings Opening of the 2008 session
The 2008 opening session of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People took place on 14 February 2008. At the meeting, the Committee elected members of the Bureau of the Committee: Amb. Paul Badji (Senegal) as Chairman, Amb. Zahir Tanin (Afghanistan) and Amb. Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz (Cuba) as Vice-Chairmen, and Amb. Saviour Borg (Malta) as Rapporteur. The Committee also adopted its programme of work for the year.
